Newt Gingrich on Spanish as the “Language of the Ghetto”
If people can’t recognize institutional/structural racism/sexism/homophobia/classism/etc-ism, at least they now have a nice big and clear example.
I said this before, that what’s scary isn’t that these GOP candidates are the embodiment of basically every -ism you can think of. It’s the fact that they have so much support. It’s when the crowd booed the gay soldier who asked Santorum a simple question. It’s when the crowd cheered Perry’s execution record. That people agree with these candidates. That’s very scary.

Consider how old America is. Our nation is just 300 years old. Look at other nations/groups of people that are much older. Do you see such radical improvement there? They don’t have an immigration problem like we do, but they have foreign visitors.
